Recreated with Purpose
God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground."
—Genesis 1:28
Did you know that you were formed and created with a purpose? Just like Adam, you were born into God's kingdom to establish it and maintain it. Many of us have never discovered this truth. We walk around like Adam did after his fall. When Adam fell to sin in the Garden of Eden, he not only lost his connection with God, but He also lost his purpose. God had created Adam with purpose. Everything about Adam was fashioned to help him fulfill his destiny. Immediately after the fall of mankind, God went about putting things in order to reestablish His original intent.
In the beginning, God formed the first man’s body and breathed His life and nature inside the earthly vessel. Scripture reveals that when the Spirit of God entered the simple dirt and clay, it (Adam) became a living soul. Adam was born as a son of God by the same breath that recreated you when you made Jesus the Lord of your life. Then God gave this son partial authority and dominion over the earth. He was to rule and reign in the garden and then spread his domain to the rest of creation.
God placed Adam in the garden. He told him to keep and tend to it. That wasn't the whole scope of God's plan for Adam—it was just His starting place. He very plainly told Adam to take dominion and subdue the whole earth, filling it with his offspring. He was to cause creation to conform to God's kingdom and His authority. He was to maintain and pass along this dominion by teaching his children everything that God had taught him.
Does this sound familiar? It should. It is the very same command that Jesus has given you and me. God never changes. He is not full of surprises like men who are forever changing their minds. Right after Adam’s fall, God started things in motion that would allow Him to legally redeem Adam and all of his offspring so that God’s election, plans and purposes for us could be reestablished.
Jesus was born to redeem us so that the Holy Spirit could recreate us in order for the Father to reissue His original decree to us. We have been born from above by the powerful One who raised Christ from the dead so that we can establish God’s kingdom and authority over the creation that Satan has kept in bondage for some 6,000 years. Even the earth groans for us to take our place and set it free by this authoritative step.
We were formed in our mothers’ wombs for a reason. We have been made new to fulfill our destinies. We are to go into all the earth under the kingship and authority of Jesus Christ. We are to proclaim the good news and pray with men, giving God entrance into the lives of men of all nations so He can recreate them by a breath of the same Spirit that He breathed into the nostrils of Adam on the earthen floor of Eden. We are to teach these glorified men all that Jesus commanded us so that they can go and do the same, multiplying themselves and filling the earth with sons of God. We aren't here by chance. We've been recreated with purpose and eternal destiny in order to establish the kingdom of God.

Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
—Matthew 28:18-20
For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God's abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ.
—Romans 5:17
He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.
