The need for the approval of others is a driving, nearly obsessive need for some people. The desire to be approved has made them go to unimaginable lengths of compromise.
People have changed their body shapes and skin colour because they are desperate for approval. Some have littered their dignity all over social media because they seek approval from strangers. There are those who naively think they will “selfie” themselves into the hearts of their social media audience.
In this day, approval is erroneously linked to the number of likes some accumulate on a single post or the number of followers on their handles. The desire for approval has turned some into cyber zombies relentlessly attracted to the comments on their latest social media post.
That is no way to live, child of God.
The Father wants you to be free from the desire for the approval of men.
God approves of you, that is enough! In fact, when it comes to His favour, you don’t need to “sign in.”
You are perfect just the way you are!
Fall in love with who God has made you to be. When you stand before that mirror today, remind yourself that God approves of you; He is happy with your skin colour, thrilled by your height and excited by the work of art that you are.
Walk out of your home today with your head held high, safe in the infallible truth that you bear God’s eternal seal of approval.

PRAYER: Father, I thank You for this Word. Thank You for who you have made me to be. I know that I am unique and special because you made and moulded me with the greatest care. I am approved of You. This is the confidence with which I live every day of my life.
